After seeing it posted on Twenty7Zero3’s blog I thought I’d have a go at the Thirty Day Writing Challenge. Originally I was just going to do the prompts that interested me and do them in my own time. But the more I thought about it the more I couldn’t bring myself not to do it fully. I think it’s to do with being a perfectionist – if I’m going to do something, I have to do it properly. The only one I will be skipping is ‘Day 15: Your zodiac/horoscope and if you think it fits your personality’ because astrology is bullshit. Some of the posts will be very loosely based on the title, some will be long essays, some may be nothing but a photo. But hopefully they will all be there and all posted on the right day. Wish me luck, I’m going to need it. Fancy having a go? Here’s the full list:
- Five ways to win your heart
- Something you feel strongly about
- A book you love
- Bullet your whole day
- Things you want to say to an ex
- Your views on mainstream music
- Five pet peeves
- What you ate today
- How important you think education is
- Put your music player on shuffle and write the first ten songs that play
- Your family
- Five guys whom you find attractive
- Your opinion about your body and how comfortable you are with it
- What you wore today
- Your zodiac/horoscope and if you think it fits your personality
- Something you always think, “what if…” about
- Something that you’re proud off
- A problem that you have had
- Five things you lust after
- Your fears
- How you hope your future will be
- Your academics
- Something that you miss
- Five words/phrases that make you laugh
- Something that you’re currently worrying about
- Things you like and dislike about yourself
- A quote you try to live by
- Somewhere you’d like to move to or visit
- Five weird things that you (don’t) like
- One thing you’re excited for
Ready… steady… GO
I like this! I’d like to do it but it doesn’t really suit my blog too much. I rarely post random personal posts like this, so I’m not sure. Hm.. I’ll have to think about it a bit.

It has been great fun so far. I can see what you mean about making sure it fits your blog – personally I love the more personal posts but that’s just my natural nosiness!

Ah thank you for the pointer, I’ve fixed it. Me being lazy and just copy and pasting without any more thought. Hmm I hadn’t thought about doing that but good idea. Just giving me more to do though!

P.s. Your list points 1 and 2 currently link back to my posts, so you might want to remove them, so that you can pop links to your posts, when you’ve completed them 🙂

Yippeee! I’m very happy about this.
Also I insist that you do number 15, and you tell us more why you think it’s bullshit. I think it will be an interesting read
